LUSONG is a Cebuano word for advance, its initials also stands for Lihuk katawhan Ubanan ta ang Sensiro, Organisado ug Nagkahiusang Gobyerno. (Move People, Lets Join the Sincere, Organized and United Government)
In a joint meeting conducted by the Provincial Engineering Office with the respective Municipal Engineers of the 11 municipalities last April 19, 2012, two teams (heavy equipment) will be deployed one for District 1 and another one team for District 2. Both team will have 10 heavy equipment to include back hoe, 1 loader, 1 road roller, 2 grader, and 5 dump trucks to shorten the numbers of days of work and to fasten the repair.

Elizalde-New Leyte-Cambagang Section which connects the municipality of Maco and Maragusan.

Also included in the priority lists are the 15.80 km. Nabunturan-Saosao-Nuevo Iloco Section of Nabunturan and Mawab, 17 km. After the provincial roads, the municipal and barangay road repair will immediately follow but the final identification as to what and when it starts will depend on the League of Municipalities of the Philippines’ meeting result presided by LMP President Laak Mayor Reynaldo B.
