Big Time Pusher Busted By Law Enforcers


Agents from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Regional Office XI led by Director III Emerson Rosales  together with Intel Branch of Davao City Police Office led by Police Supt. Anthony Padua and the Technical Support Platoon of Davao City Police Office led by PSupt. Richard Bad-ang PSUPT RICHARD BAD-ANG conducted buy-bust operation last May 7, 2012 at around 1:15 p.m. at Ecoland, Davao City. 

The suspect identified as Sam Degayo Y Magnaong, 28 years old, with live in partner and a resident of Mintex, Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao. The suspect was arrested after selling one (1) big pack of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride otherwise known as “shabu” approximately weighing fifteen (15) grams worth one hundred thousand pesos (Php 100,000.00) to PDEA Agent who acted as poseur buyer.

Recovered from his possession and control were the one (1) piece B15 cellular phone, one (1) piece one thousand peso (Php 1,000.00) buy-bust marked money bill and ninety nine (99) pieces one thousand peso bill (Php 1,000.00) boodle money.

The suspect is now detained at Davao City Police Office detention facility. While the seized suspected illegal drugs were submitted to Philippine National Police Regional Crime Laboratory, Ecoland, Davao City for laboratory examination. Case for violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs), Article II of Republic Act 9165 otherwise known as “The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002” is being filed against the suspect.

This collaborative effort of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, Philippine National Police and the community serve as a warning to all drug perpetrators that the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, Philippine National Police and the community are closely working together and always vigilant in the fight against illegal drugs.
