LGU increases mobility in barangays



TAGUM CITY—The City Government of Tagum led by Mayor Allan L. Rellon is determined to increase the mobility of barangay functionaries in doing their respective barangay-related activities with the distribution of equipment and motor vehicles to several barangays of the city.

Barangay captains formally received the equipment and vehicles amounting to 7, 233, 872.76 pesos during the city hall’s Monday Convocation Program last December 1, 2014.

The equipment that were given to 14 barangays consist of six-wheeler cargo truck, motorcycles, Mitsubishi L300 vans and a dump truck.

The barangays who received the equipment are Apokon, Bincungan, Cuambogan, Liboganon, Madaum, Magdum, New Balamban, Pagsabangan, Pandapan, San Agustin, San Miguel, Visayan Village, La Filipina and San Isidro.

As agreed, respective barangays will be the new caretakers of the said equipment which is owned by the City Government of Tagum. (Louie Lapat of CIO Tagum)
