BIR announces Integrated Tax System maintenance



The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) Integrated Tax System (ITS) is undergoing systems maintenance and upgrade from December 12, 2014, 5:00 P.M. to January 5, 2015, 7:00 A.M.



Its functionalities such as but not limited to Issuance of Authority to Print, Registration of New Taxpayers, Encoding of Returns, Generation of ITS Reports, and File Transfer Protocol (FTP) of Alphalist, MAP, SAWT, SLS/SLP/SLI from the Revenue District Offices to the ITS will not be available during the period, except in the Large Taxpayers and CDF databases.



Taxpayers can still pay through the Authorized Agent Banks (AABs), Electronioc Filing and Payment System (eFPS), and the Mobile Revenue Collection Officer System (MRCOS). Uploading of payments data, however, will commence on January 5, 2015.



The BIR is requesing all taxpayers and the public to transact their business with the BIR before 12 December 2014 to avoid any inconvenience resulting from the ITS downtime. The ITS downtime is meant to make the ITS more efficient and responsive to taxpayers’ needs. (BIR/reytdlc)
