Compostela Valley, October 5, 2015 – The newest gymnasium, said to be the
largest in the province, is inaugurated today 9Oct. 5) in Barangay Kingking,
Municipality of Pantukan. It has a seating capacity of about 3,000
with a total project cost of P62M.
Gov. Arturo Uy, with the whole provincial
officialdom, witness the blessing of the gym after which he shared some of the
highlights of accomplishments during his term. He said all the
awards and accolades could not have been made possible without the help and
generosity of various national agencies, non-government organizations and the
private sectors, among others.
The Governor added he wanted to leave a legacy
and wanted the achieved development and progress attained by the province under
his term to continue.
Pantukan Mayor Roberto Yugo extends his heartfelt
thanks for having the gym in his municipality.
The gym will offer opportunities such as the
youth in the whole province, to recreate healthy and practice sporting
activities in a better setting.
Furthermore, the provincial government
guarantees its capability to host big events not just locally but nationally.
Also leading the ceremonial blessing are
Vice-Gov. Manuel Zamora, Cong. Maricar Zamora, Sr. Board Member Tyron Uy, and
other SP Members as well as other municipal mayors and local officials,
sectoral representatives including the scholars, youth, women, IPs,
Kapitbahayan (GK), senior citizens, business sector and other guests. (fe
