ComVal receives 84 Classrooms from FFCCCI

Compostela Valley Province—A total of 84 Classrooms of school buildings were donated by the Federation of Filipino Chinese Chamber of Commerce, Inc. (FFCCCI) to the public schools in Comval. Based on the latest report from the Provincial Engineer’s Office thru Engr. Rhoderick Digamon-PG Department Head of PEO, from 2008 to 2012 a total of 72 were already finished.

In 2014, another additional 6 classroom buildings from the FFCCCI were given and the recipients schools are: Siocon Elementary School of Compostela for 2 Classrooms, Nabunturan at Cabidianan National High School Annex for 2 classrooms, and at Matilo Elementary School for 2 classrooms.

For 2015, another 6 classrooms were also donated by the group: 2 classrooms in Libay-libay HS of Maco; 2 classrooms for Napnapan HS in Pantukan; and 2 Classrooms at Mangloy HS in Laak.

In can be recalled that on May 26, 2008, Gov. Arturo “Chiongkee” Uy announced during the Employees Convocation Program the result of a meeting with the officials from the FFCCCI in Manila saying they are willing to donate more classrooms in Comval.

In the same year, the 22 Classrooms from FFCCCI were already built for the 6 public schools in Nabunturan where they received 2 classrooms each. (Rey Antibo, PGO-IDS)
