New Industrial estate to rise in Panabo



PANABO CITY, Feb.11, 2016 – A Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) was signed during the Ground Breaking and Time capsule Placement Ceremony held at the site of ANFLO Industrial Estate (AIE) located at Barangay San Pedro and Barangay San Vicente situated next to Davao International Container Terminal (DICT).

AIE is a 63-hectare designed to be a self sustaining eco-zone that will accommodate agro-industrial and light manufacturing companies. The estate will offer land and ready built factory buildings/warehouses for sale and lease in various sizes to suit locators’ needs. This is duly licensed by Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) and proclaimed as a Special Economic Zone by the office of the President.

PEZA Director General Lilia de Lima emphasized the advantage of this estate to the city and its people like employment and industrial opportunities. “This will become a privilege to D and E classes of this Society” she said.
She also congratulated the Floriendo’s, the owner of ANFLO Group, for initiating this Project. AIE is also part of ANFLO Group.

On the interview with Mayor James G. Gamao, he sighted that Local Government is eager to support this estate through infrastructures.

He also added that as of now, a concrete road project is being planned from Barangay San Vicente connecting to the Coastal Road and when this estate becomes operational there will be more government projects which will provide benefits for Panaboans.

Mayor Gamao and Vice Mayor Janrey Gavina also took part on the event together with the Floirendo’s and Key Executives of ANFLO Group. (Renel Balsabas – CIO Panabo)
