DAVAO DEL NORTE, June 15 (PIA) - - Department of Education Secretary Bro. Armin Luistro turned over recently at the Bulwagan ng Lalawigan sports equipment to the provincial government of Davao del Norte.
During the monthly convocation program, Sec. Luistro handed over to Gov. Rodolfo del Rosario some sports equipments that was utilized during the 2015 Palarong Pambansa, which was held here at the province.
Davao del Norte Sports Coordinator Giovanni Gulanes said that the sports equipment will be used for Sports Academy, which will be established at the Davao del Norte Sports and Tourism Complex, Tagum City.
He said that what transpired in the program is the ceremonial turn-over only and they will still check be accounting all the sports facilities that will be given to them.
“We don’t have data yet as to how many and how much were the sports facilities that will be given to the province,” Gulanes said. (PIA11, Michael Uy)
