PANABO CITY, Davao del Norte, June 1---
Department of Education (DepEd) Panabo City Schools Division recently disclosed
that 13 Panabo athletes bagged medals during the 2015 Palarong Pambansa held on
May 3-9 in Tagum City, Davao del Norte.
Among those who brought pride and honor after
a week of intense competition were Bernice Arabelle Elesterio who won gold in
swimming 50M Breaststroke and silver in Swimming 4x10 Medley Relay while
Angeline Jain bagged silver in Swimming 4x50 Medley Relay, 50M Breaststroke and
4x100 Medley Relay.
Khobe Dumlao and Ronald Gilhang Jr. both
bagged bronze medals in Tennis Boys Team Competition.
Ramil Lagaman and Kristine Joymarikit who
competed for Table Tennis Girls Team Competition grabbed a bronze medal. Japhet
Caresosa won silver medal in Chess Boys Standard Category while Megan
Alexandrea Macla bagged the gold medal in Taekwondo Girls Category 4 and
Stephen Joy Roferos grabbed gold in Basketball Elementary.
Secondary Palaro athletes of Panabo City also
had their share of medals. Mariz Lagroma bagged silver in Archery 50M
while Bejay Namocot and Arbie Batoy took home bronze medal in Team Shooting
Competition.
Ryan Dave Pecolados, bagged four bronze medals
from four competitions namely, Archery 30M, Archery 50M, Archery Secondary Boys
