DAVAO CITY, July 03 (PIA)--- As the new chairperson of the Regional Development Council (RDC) XI, Davao del Norte Rodolfo P. del Rosario last Monday made his first salvo in presiding the second Council meeting for the year.
Sworn into office last Sunday, he then took up the following day major business agenda set by the National Economic Developmen uthority (NEDA) XI which served as the secretariat of the quarterly meeting held at the Conference Hall of NEDA-RDC XI Center in Bangkal, Davao City.
The business agenda tackled during the meeting encompassed operational and organizational concerns, technical concerns and sectoral/special committee matters.
Among the operational and organizational concerns dealt with were on the budget authority for the RDX XI private sector representative (PSR) participation to the 5th RDC PSR National Conference, and the recognition of awardees of the calendar year 2013 Davao Region Excellence Awards in Project Implementation.
Among the technical concerns tackled were the Davao Region’s Performance on 2013 Targets, the Regional Development Budgeting Process Framework, the Davao Region Industry Cluster Roadmaps for 2014 to 2030 and the Public Management Development Program Roadshow.
Special concerns tackled were resolutions needing RDC XI actions. Among the RDC Committees which presented such resolutions for action were the committees on Economic Development, Infrastructure Dev’t, Social Development, Development Administration, Macro-ecosomy and Finance, Regional Project Monitoring and the Committee on ASEAN Economic Community.
