NABUNTURAN, ComVal Province, July 30 – Along with the beautiful tourist destinations in Compostela Valley, those who will come to visit the province could also enjoy its souvenir products.
The provincial government together with the national government agencies particularly the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Provincial Tourism Council, local government units, and private partners, joined hands in strengthening the tourism, and the trade and industry of the province.
One area is developing the skills of the potential Comvalenyo artists through arts workshop and trainings.
These include the Stone Craft and Souvenir Production Training which was recently conducted for five days at the Holcim Training Center in New Bataan from July 7-11 wherein most of the trainees were typhoon Pablo survivors.
Last year, Woodcraft Training and Riverstones and Driftwood Sculptures Training was also conducted. (IDS-Comval/Grace Almedilla)
