Binibining IGaCoS held

ISLAND GARDEN CITY OF SAMAL, March 11, 2015 -  Around 3,000 Samalenos crowded at Samal Multipurpose Gym, Barangay Penaplata  to witness the coronation night of the Binibining IGaCoS 2015  on March 6.

Bb. IGaCoS Bernadette Jade Laniba  bested other twelve lovely, talented and intelligent candidates who vied for the most coveted crown on the Search for Bb. IGaCoS 2015 slated every annual Founding Anniversary of Island Garden City of Samal. The winners will  serve as ambassadress of goodwill and  to  promote tourism and the protection and conservation of environment of the island city.

City Mayor Aniano P. Antalan together with Bb. IGaCoS 2014 Edith Darl Rose Batucan Minaling put on the crown to the confident and intelligent  21 year-old Laniba from  Barangay Penaplata  who made an edge over other four finalists  during the Q & A round  that made her  the Most Eloquent and crowned Bb. IGaCoS 2015.

Adjudged as  1st runner up, Jiah Cadiz from Barangay San Agustin also hauled major and minor awards as  Best in swimsuit, casual wear and evening gown.  2nd runner up Charielynne Joyce Napoles of Barangay Mambago A  also bagged Miss  Close-up Smile  and Best Performer while 3rd runner up April Rose Pasaol of Barangay Mambago B got Miss Friendship and 4th runner up Jessel Margate of Barangay Tambo bagged the Miss Photogenic award.

The  crowned Binibining IGaCoS 2015 received  a trophy and  thirty thousand cash; 1st runner up received a trophy and twenty thousand cash; 2nd runner up received a trophy and ten thousand pesos while the 3rd and fourth also took home a trophy and cash prizes.

City Mayor Antalan  promised a trip to Manila and  Baguio City for all the winners in his message during the program just like what he did to former Bb. IGaCoS winners. (CIO IGACOS)
