Mati City to hold first traffic summit



MATI CITY, Davao Oriental – To avoid the increasing rampant violations in traffic, the City Government of Mati (LGU Mati) and the Provincial Government of Davao Oriental (LGU Davao Oriental) in partnership with the Land Transportation Office (LTO) will hold the 1st Traffic Summit on November 19-20, 2014 at Baywalk Hotel, City of Mati.

Mr. Joselito T. Mandaya, Mati LTO District Office Head, explains that the summit further intends to present road safety measures and to inform the general public what is law enforcement.

Dahil ang Buhay ay Mahalaga, Kailangan Natin ng Disiplina is the theme of the event which underlines not just the importance of laws on the roads but also the value of human life with proper discipline.

Associations from different transport groups in the province along with the Local Chief Executives of 10 municipalities and 1 city with their Chief of Police will be the invited participants to the said summit. (Yon P. Maybuena, CIO)
