lig-on dapat adunay suporta sa matag-isa, kumyunikasyon sa bana, sa
asawa ug sa mga anak. Walay juvenile delinquency kung hatagan nato og
insaktong panahon ang atong mga anak.(To be able to have a strong family
they need to have a strong support to one another, an open
communication between the husband and wife and the children. There would
be no juvenile delinquencies if enough time were given to our
children.) City Councilor and Committee on Family and Children Teresita
B. Antalan said.
“Resilient and Caring” family is this
year’s theme, indeed, no matter how hard and difficult problems came to a
family, the members must hold on to one another, must be flexible and
adoptable, just like a bamboo plant at whatever time the strong wind
strikes, the bamboo plant still stands on the ground. Hence, we need to
give importance to strengthening family ties and to take care of each
other, having a home to grow up in. A strong family contributes largely
to a progressive society.” Councilor Antalan added.

pamilya.”(It help us a lot as parent, it will enhance our knowledge in
rearing and disciplining our children, and the laws that protects my
rights, my children and any members of my family from any abusive act.)
