CVPH-Montevista, now better equipped for health services



NABUNTURAN, Compostela Valley- The Compostela Valley Provincial Hospital (CVPH)- Montevista is now more capable of providing health services to the public with the additional new ambulance and more hospital equipment it received through the initiative of the Doctors and health care personnel who sourced out funds to donate such to the hospital through the leadership of Dr. Anthony Soberano, the Chief of Hospital.

A ceremony was done at the Capitol last October 13 wherein the new ambulance was received by Governor Arturo T. Uy as turned-over by Provincial Economic & Enterprise Management Officer Dr. John Edward Coloma, Dr. Soberano, and Administrative Officer Allan Lagumbay.

In his message, Dr. Soberano revealed that the Doctors and health personnel are so inspired by the generosity and full support of Governor Uy to health care services endeavors leading them to initiate such act of finding ways to donate some important equipment and an ambulance to the hospital.

The donated hospital equipment include an Endoscopy unit, A-Scan and Ophthalmologic Microscope, Orthopedic Instruments, and a C-Pap Pediatric Ventilator which, according to Dr. Soberano, there are only 3 hospitals in Mindanao that got the ventilator---Davao Doctors Hospital, Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC), CVPH-Montervista. (grace almedilla, ids-comval)
