NABUNTURAN, Compostela Valley- The Compostela Valley Provincial
Hospital (CVPH)- Montevista is now more capable of providing health services to
the public with the additional new ambulance and more hospital equipment it
received through the initiative of the Doctors and health care personnel who
sourced out funds to donate such to the hospital through the leadership of Dr.
Anthony Soberano, the Chief of Hospital.
A ceremony was done at the Capitol last October
13 wherein the new ambulance was received by Governor Arturo T. Uy as
turned-over by Provincial Economic & Enterprise Management Officer Dr. John
Edward Coloma, Dr. Soberano, and Administrative Officer Allan Lagumbay.
In his message, Dr. Soberano revealed that the Doctors and
health personnel are so inspired by the generosity and full support of Governor
Uy to health care services endeavors leading them to initiate such act of
finding ways to donate some important equipment and an ambulance to the
hospital.
The donated hospital equipment include an Endoscopy unit, A-Scan
and Ophthalmologic Microscope, Orthopedic Instruments, and a C-Pap Pediatric
Ventilator which, according to Dr. Soberano, there are only 3 hospitals in
Mindanao that got the ventilator---Davao Doctors Hospital, Southern Philippines
Medical Center (SPMC), CVPH-Montervista. (grace almedilla, ids-comval)
