11 Government Offices in Region 11 Get Excellent Rating in Anti-Red Tape Survey

DAVAO CITY- About 11 government offices in the Davao Region achieved excellence ratings in the Anti-Red  Tape Survey.

As mandated by Republic Act No. 9485 or the Anti-Red Tape Act (ARTA) of 2007 requires the conduct of Report Card Survey (RCS) among government offices to gather feedback on the effectiveness and efficiency in the agencies’ frontline services.

The RCS checks on the agency’s compliance with ARTA provisions, physical working condition, frontline service provider, service quality and over all customer satisfaction.

In 2014, the Civil Service Commission (CSC), as the lead implementer of ARTA administered the ARTA-RCS to 1,023 service offices nationwide of nine (9) government agencies, namely: Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), Government Service Insurance System (GSIS), Home Development Mutual Fund (HDMR/Pag-Ibig Fund), Land Registration Authority (LRA), Land Transportation Office (LTO), Philippine Statistics Authority-National Statistics Office (PSA-NSO), Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth), Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC), and the Social Security System (SSS).

In Region 11, 34 government offices were surveyed wherein 11 offices got anexcellent rating, 18 good, and 1 acceptable. Four (4) offices obtained a failed rating.

An office receives an Excellent rating if it obtained a score of 90-100, an Outstanding rating if it obtained a score of 90-100, but have a failing mark in one area, a Good rating if it obtained a score of 80- 89.99, an Acceptable rating from 70-79.99 and a Failed rating if an agency obtained a score of 69.99 and below.

Service offices who failed during the first conduct of ARTA-RCS were given a second chance after undergoing Service Delivery Excellence Program (SDEP).

The SDEP is a technical assistance given to those service offices who obtained a failed rating in order to address the areas where they failed in the survey.(pr)
