DAVAO CITY, November 4 (PIA) Philippine Coast Guard will
conduct a series of entrance examinations nationwide from November 14, 21,
December 5 and 12, 2015.
In Southeastern Mindanao, the entrance examinations are set on
December 12, 2015.
Applicants must be natural born Filipino with good moral
character, 18 to 26 years old at the time of enlistment for non-commission
officers from June 15, 1989 to June 15, 1997 and 18 to 26 years old at the time
of enlistment for commission- ship; single with no parental obligation with a
minimum height requirement at 5 feet for both male and female and physically
and mentally fit under existing regulations for the PH Coast Guard Service.
Non-commission enlistment requires graduate or has earned at least
seventy two (72) units in only one (1) course as seen in the transcript of
records (TOR) with TESDA skills related to Coast Guard functions while
commission officer enlistment needs a baccalaureate degree holder duly
certified by the Commission on Higher Education with civil service eligibility
or license from the Professional Regulations Commission.
Priority courses must be Bacher of Science in Marine
Transportation, Marine Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering,
Accountancy, Laws, Medicine and Theology.
Applicants must comply these requirements during the examination
namely: application form; duly accomplished personnel history sheet (PHS); NSO
birth certificate (certified true copy); Transcript of records (TOR) (certified
true copy); 2x2 ID picture (white background); One long white folder; Blue
ballpen; mailing envelope with complete name, mailing address and stamp.
