Sofonias Gabonada, provincial information officer, revealed during the Kapihan sa Abreeza on Friday (April 24) that provincial government of Davao del Norte really pushes for Beach Volleyball to be included next year as a regular Palaro game.
“As of now, we have 10 regions that signified their participation to the Beach Volley game,” Gabonada said.
He said that the preliminary games will be played in Kaputian and Babak in the Island Garden City of Samal.
“The final games will be held at the only beach volley court in the country that is located at the center of city, which is the Beach Volley Court at Rotary Park, Tagum City,” he said.
The Palarong Pambansa 2015 has 21 regular sporting events.
These are archery, arnis, athletics, badminton, baseball, basketball, boxing, chess, football, gymnastics, sepak takraw, softball, swimming, table tennis, volleyball, billiards, futsal, wushu and wrestling.
