DAVAO
DEL NORTE, MAY 12, 2015, (PIA) – Province of Davao del Norte and City of Tagum
after hosting Palarong Pambansa 2015.
Governor
Rodolfo Del Rosario has said that the Province of Davao del Norte and City of
Tagum is back in the map, citing it as a great accomplishment.
The
Governor cited the label “Best Palarong Pambansa Ever”, which has become known
in the entire country.
He
said that through social media, the participants and the visitors are all
praises with the kind of facilities and treatment that the province have
provided.
According
to Mayor Allan Rellon of Tagum City, The conclusion of Palaro 2015 will
mark the beginning of more opportunities for Tagum City.
Rellon
said that Tagum has four major events which the city is looking forward
to benefit after holding Palaro 2015. The events are MICE (Meetings,
Investments, Conventions, and Events) related events.
Being
the capital of the Province, the city has ab existing 68 accommodation
establishments with at least 1,300 room, enough proof that the city is ready to
handle MICE events.
In
addition, Rellon has announced that Tagum City is now being endorsed by the
Department of Interior and Local Government to be the center of Lakbay Aral for
other Local Government Units to learn about the best practices in the city.
