TAGUM CITY, Davao del Norte, May 5 (PIA)
Education Assistant Secretary Tonisito Umali, chief of the legal and
legislative affairs, lauded the local governments of Davao del Norte and all
the participating local governments of its three cities and five municipalities
for the grandiose holding of the opening ceremony and the holding of the
Palarong Pambansa 2015.
He said that despite the rain, the opening program
showed how very prepared the province in holding the national games.
“It was still a perfect opening ceremony due to
the fast and organized entry of the delegations,” Umali said.
He said it was one of the fastest and most
organized opening ceremony since 2010.
Umali gave credit to the Davao del Norte
Provincial Government for the real time simulation of the opening ceremony.
“Congratulations to Davao del Norte and the city
of Tagum for the great opening program,” he said.
Umali assured that all delegations are accounted
for and ready for the sports competition.
