“Bayanihan para sa Kalusugan” benefit townsfolk in Maco

Compostela Valley Province, May 20, 2015 – A total of 739 individuals availed of free medical service s held at Brgy. San Roque, Maco on May 8 which is also in celebration of Sr. Board Member Tyron Uy’s birthday.

The  provincial government through its Health Office (PHO) and Economic Enterprise Management Office (PEEMO), and the Therma Marine led the “Bayanihan para sa Kalusugan” which was able to give for free 384 medical consultations, 161 dental services, 114 eye check-up, 69 circumcisions, 8 ultrasound, and 3 minor operations.

Aside from the medical outreach, free hair cut and lunch were also given to the townsfolk as a birthday treat from the young legislator. BM Uy currently heads the Committees on Health and Social Services, Education and Information Technology, and acting chair on Youth, Sports, Games and Amusement.  (FeM/ ids comval)
