PANABO CITY, Davao del Norte, January 14, 2014 (PIA) - The most awaited mass wedding in Panabo City is fast approaching. The City Civil Registrar Office (CCRO) has been busy entertaining request of couples who are applying to be part of the "Kasalan ng Lungsod" (City Wedding) this coming February 14, 2014 at the Food Centrum, New Pandan, Panabo City.
City Mayor Hon. Jose L. Silvosa Sr. stated that this program helps strengthen couples in establishing strong family relationship under legal terms. Like the previous Kasalan ng Lungsod, the CCRO will prepare the event as if there is a single couple. Each couple will wear their own unique wedding attire while their families will witness their exchanging of vows.
City Civil Registrar Office Head Miss Conchita L. Espinosa, in cooperation with the National Statistics Office is helping make this wedding event possible through the full support of the City Mayor. Every couple can avail of free services such as a CENOMAR, Application of Marriage License, Solemnization Fee, and the Registration of Marriage Certificate. As of January 14, ten couples have registered for the said event. The deadline for submission of application will be on January 24.(Michael Angelo A. Resueño, CIO Panabo)
