COMPOSTELA VALLEY PROVINCE, January 20, 2014 ----- For the 6th time the Compostela Valley province is a consistent Regional Winner to the National Search for Barangay with Best Sanitation Practices (NSBBSP) of the Department of Health (DOH) Center For Health Development- XI.
There’s a set Joint Awarding Ceremonies on February 2014 in Pasay City for such 6thNSBBSP Winners and for the Inter-Local Health Zone Good Practices.
The winning 2013 entry of Compostela Valley is the Barangay Del Pilar of the Municipality of Mabini. According to Provincial Sanitation Inspector Nancy Subayno, based on the conducted regional evaluation on October 2013, the said barangay passed the DOH criteria, making it gained the corresponding needed points to become a regional awardee.
Being a consistent regional winner for 6 years in this best sanitation practice program, the province is hopeful that it will soon be a Hall of Fame Awardee. (grace almedilla, ids-comval)
