Panabo City PNP Chief strategies for effective peace keeping


PANABO CITY- Panabo City’s new PNP Chief, P/Supt. Antonio D. Alberio presented his proposed strategies for effective peace keeping during the Kasikas sa Mindanao radio program at DXRD 711 khz hosted by Lilet Salo and Manny Bautista last July 11.

“Cleaning the ranks, having God-fearing personnel, community involvement, organizing the Barangay Peace Action Team (BPAT) and monitoring hot spots are among has strategies for effective peace keeping,” P/Supt. Alberio said.

“Cleaning the ranks is very necessary because police officers should be a model or enforcer of peace and order. They need to be disciplined and unblemished,” Chief Alberio added. “Besides, policemen should be God-fearing to show love and respect necessary for services.

“Community involvement is also necessary because PNP personnel were outnumbered. There were 60 PNP in Panabo, therefore, any report for police assistance and information will be very necessary for Panabo City’s peace keeping.

Chief Alberio was also active in community service through three plantings and backyard gardenings.

He also reiterated the advice to file complaints and pursue the case in court so that lawlessness will be punished therefore deterred in doing any illegal activities.(CIO Panabo)
