The People’s Budget is one of the eight essential budget documents
that must be made available to the public under the Open Budget Survey, which
uses indicators to assess whether the government makes these documents
available to the public in a timely manner and whether the data are
comprehensive and useful
The Philippines scored 64 out of a possible 100 percent for
transparency in the 2015 Open Budget Survey, a biennial survey and the world’s
only independent and comparative measure of budget transparency.
“The Philippines’ score of 64 percent indicates that the
government provides the public with substantial budget information,” said
