DAVAO
CITY, Sept. 18 – PhilHealth Region XI recently presented recognition awards to
its top performing collecting partners during the 2015 Accredited Collecting
Agents (ACA) Forum held in the city.
Ranking
first in the Non-Bank Category is Philippine Postal Corporation – Mintal
followed by SM Retail Inc., for having the highest premium collections for
2014.
Topping
the list for the Bank Category is the Philippine Veterans Bank – Monteverde
Branch, tailed by Security Bank Corporation (E-pay Facility) and Land Bank of
the Philippines San Pedro Branch, respectively.
Veterans
bank was likewise recognized as the top ACA in theRegional Bank Category.
Around
a hundred local bank managers and representatives joined the forum held on
September 9 at The Royal Mandaya Hotel, which was a gathering of various third
party collecting agents accredited by PhilHealth.
PhilHealth
XI Regional Vice-President Dennis Adre said the corporation recognizes the role
of its collecting partners in fulfilling its mandate ofUniversal Health Care
(UHC) and is calling out to all ACAs to always ensure efficient collection of
premium payment.
“PhilHealth
is something we collectively
own and it is our responsibility to make collection accessible to members,”
Adre addressed the ACAs.
Meanwhile,
an open forum also transpired between PhilHealth and ACAs that discussed
remittance concerns, review policies of the corporation and recap the
