Dodong Solis, station manager of One Radio, said the cycling route is purposely chosen to bring the Kadayawan mood to far-flung barangays in the city.

“Even if some Dabawenyos live in remote areas, we wanted the residents to feel that the festivity is not only focus in downtown area but they can also see action right at their communities and be part of the celebration,” said Solis.

Meanwhile, Jun Paholio of Philcycling said that participating teams and individuals coming from Davao, General Santos, Koronadal, Valencia City, Kidapawan and Cebu will compete in three respective categories: Open-Elite, Executive and Junior Developmental categories.
