Career Service Exams for Foreign Service Officers set

DAVAO CITY- The Department of Foreign Affairs has announced that the examination date for Career Service Examination for Foreign Serice Officer (CSE-FSO) will be on December 15, 2013.
Testing centers will be in the cities of Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Metro Manila, San Fernando and La Union.

Applicants for examination must be a Filipino citizen, less than 36 years of age on Dec. 15, a graduate from a four year bachelor’s degree and have undergone employment or have undertaken at least two years of further studies after graduating from college or university.

Application forms can be downloaded from the DFA website (www.dfa.gov.ph) or can be personally secured from the DFA-XI office located at third floor SM City Davao, Quimpo Boulevard.

The forms must be duly accomplished and submitted to DFA on or before November 8, 2013 with Certified True Copy of transcript of records from college or university bearing the seal of the school and the Certified True Copy of diploma or certificate of graduation bearing the seal of the college or university, Proof of past or present employment or further studies.

Original birth certificate issued by the National Statistics Office for those born abroad report of birth duly authenticated by the Foreign Service post, for married applicants-marriage contract issued by the National Statistics Office, 10 pieces photographs 4.5 cm x 3.5 cm colored with white background taken within three months prior to filing of information, Two self-addressed and self-stamped envelopes marked as priority mail and two original valide identification cards and copy of each IDs.

A non-refundable admission fee of P500.00 (five hundred pesos) will be collected from those taking the tests.(PIA/RG Alama)
