DavNor gov’t conducts activities for employees’ health

DAVAO DEL NORTE, June 24 (PIA) - - - The provincial government here conducted earlier today Medical Outreach for its employees at GSP Building and Bulwagan ng Lalawigan in the government center.

Gale Guadalupe Mortillero, supervising administrative officer of the Human Resource Development Division of the Provincial Human Resource Management Office, said that the outreach activity was part of the health and wellness program of the province for its employees.

Mortillero said that the province wanted to keep the employees fit to serve the public and through the activity they will be guided on their health status.

The services offered in the outreach were medical consultation, tooth extraction, pop smear, therapeutic massage and laboratory examinations like random and fasting blood sugar (RBS/FBS), electrocardiogram (ECG), and urinalysis.

Mortillero said that due to the limitation on the availment of the services, the employees are only given one medical service each.

She said that pre-registration forms were given to the offices ahead of time to schedule the employees on the services they chose.

The medical outreach was a collaborative activity of the PHRMO, Provincial Health Office, Kapalong District Hospital and Provincial Administrator’s Office – Livelihood Management Division. (PIA 11, Michael Uy)
