CSC accepts October CSE-PPT application

DAVAO DEL NORTE, June 4 (PIA) - - - The Civil Service Commission (CSC) based here in the province announced that it already accepted applications for the Civil Service Exam – Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) for October 26.

The CSC for Professional and Sub-Professional levels started accepting application on April 7, a day after the first CSE-PPT for this year and will be closed on September 11.

Minda Ostique, provincial director, said that everyone, who would like to have eligibility especially those who are already in the government service, is encouraged to take the exam.

Ostique said that the commission already lifted the educational requirement.

“Anyone who is 18 years old and above, regardless of the educational level, are encouraged to take the exams,” she said.

Application forms are available on the CSC Office at the Provincial Government Center, Mankilam Tagum City or at the internet via www.csc.gov.ph.

Aside from the application form, the other requirements are photocopy of valid identification card, four copies of passport size picture and P-500.

Ostique encouraged interest applicants to file early to avoid hassle in the application and for them to evaluate the rooms needed considering that there are only limited classrooms allocated for the exams.

She added that in Davao region, only Tagum and Davao were designated as the centers for civil service exams.

On the April 6 examination, the total actual examinees in the region reached to 9,716, in which 2,913 took their exams in Tagum City.

CSC records also revealed that only 11.20% of the 8,931 examinees in the Professional level and 9.81%
of the 785 examinees in the Sub-Professional level passed the recent examination. (PIA 11, Michael Uy)
