Army pursues recruitment drive


DAVAO CITY Sept. 20 (PIA)- The military continues its recruitment for new candidate soldiers through the Philippine Army Battery of Tests at the University of Mindanao, Davao City, Holy Trinity College in General Santos City and Davao Oriental State College of Science and Technology on September 22 and September 23, respectively.

Major Rosa Maria Christina Manuel, executive officer of the 10th Civil-Military Operations Battalion said applicants must not be beyond  25 years old, Filipino citizen, 5 feet in height, single with no paternal or maternal obligation and a graduate of a baccalaureate degree.

She said examinees must bring diploma or form 137, transcript of records, birth certificate from the National Statistics Office, valid identification card, ballpen, pencil and 2X2 ID photo.

Manuel said passers of the previous PAATB exam for officers, may take the Army Qualifying Exam and Special Written Exam.

“They also need to bring the aforementioned documents and the PAATB passing result,” she said.
