PANABO CITY, Davao del Norte, April 2 (PIA) - A beauty from Barangay San Fransisco has been crowned the first Binibining Panabo of 2014 on March 29 Saturday at Panabo Gym.
18-year old Accounting Technology Student of UM-Panabo Sweetcell Seguros bested eleven other beauties from different barangays in the City.
The candidates were judged according to five categories during the Coronation Night: Panaboans Attire, Yellow Cocktail Wear, Playsuit, Long Gown, and the Question and Answer Portion.
Crowd favorite Binibini number 6 Renelyn Sajulga of Barangay New Visayas who won Best in Yellow Cocktail Dress was also the pageant’s First Runner Up.
Third Runner Up Gladys Hepgano of Brgy. San Fransisco won Best in Panaboan’s Creative Wear while Designer Mr. Joel Perez grabbed the award for Best Panaboan’s Creative Wear Designer.
Second Runner Up Meryl Joyce Sepe of Barangay New Visayas grabbed the award for Best in Long Gown while Fourth Runner Up Pherli Queen Yorong of Barangay Cagangohan received the award for Best in Playsuit.
Binibini number 3 Maileen Grace Depalubos of Barangay San Pedro was chosen by the sponsor and official photographer, Bryan Guinto Photography Studio, as Miss Photogenic. The award was based on their photoshoot last March 13 at Barangay Nanyo, Bangoy Farms, and Mariculture Park.
During the Talent Show on March 24, the twelve Binibining Panabo candidates presented their talents at the ARF Gym to determine the award for Best in Talent. Sajulga presented a skit on Filipino pride which made her won the competition.
Seguros has to perform her duties as the Ambassadress of Good Will in Panabo for the whole year through her partnership with the Local Government.
