Palace hopeful that 2015 national budget will be passed soon

Malacañang expressed its optimism that the proposed national budget will be passed by Congress and the Senate before it adjourns its session on October 29.

The budget department proposed a P2.606 trillion budget for 2015.

Coloma added that the Palace also hopes that the proposed budget will be passed in time as it did since President Benigno Aquino III took office.

The proposed budget is 15 percent higher than the 2014 national budget.

About 37.2 percent or the bulk of the proposed national budget is dedicated for the social services of the government, which is for the education and health of the citizens.  (PCOO News Release)
