DAVAO CITY- The Department of Public Works and Highways in Region XI has promised to complete their projects programmed for the year.
Regional Director Mariano R. Alquiza, said that on-going projects will be completed according to their respective programmed date for completion or not beyond December 31, 2014.
As of June 30 this year, DPWH-XI with P7,896,160.9-billion for projects of which 11 projects has been completed with 171 on-going and 84 other projects that has yet to be started, for an actual accomplishment of 48.59%.
This figures put the DPWH-XI the top among 15 other Regional Offices in the implementation of infrastructure projects for the first half of Calendar Year 2014
“We are committed to deliver these much-needed projects to further improve the quality of life of our stakeholders at the same time propel further economic development in the areas where our projects are located,” Reg. Dir. Alquiza said. (PIA/RG Alama)
