The Junior Chamber International- Philippines will launch 9:30 am Friday, May 31 the search and award for “The Outstanding Farmers of the Philippines (TOFARM) at D’Leonor Hotel, along JP Laurel Avenue.
JCI Virgilio Jose Cabanlet, area coordinator for Mindanao said the program aims to foster steady increase of youth venturing in agriculture sector, invigorating investment and scientific advancement to achieve sustainable food supply.
He said the JCI plans to achieve this endeavour through various interventions such as advocacy promotion, training and information sharing to cover various farming communities.
